RedMagic 11S Pro global date awaits after liquid-cooled China launch
RedMagic’s 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ have launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, liquid cooling, giant batteries and a global launch scheduled for 27 May.
RedMagic is once again leaning into the kind of hardware excess that makes gaming phones fun, ridiculous and occasionally brilliant. The 11S Pro and 11S Pro+ have launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 hardware, the RedCore R4 chip, serious liquid-cooling claims, high-refresh displays and very large batteries. The Pro+ pushes the battery story even harder, while global availability is now expected to be detailed on 27 May. This matters because dedicated gaming phones occupy a strange position in 2026.
Mainstream flagships are already very fast, but RedMagic keeps targeting the players who want cooling, triggers, battery life and performance controls instead of a polite all-rounder. If the global pricing lands well, ASUS and Lenovo will have another loud, fan-spinning rival to worry about.
