NetEase 520 feels quieter for mobile, but Sea of Remnants and live-service updates still matter

NetEase’s 520 conference wrapped with fewer mobile shockwaves than expected, but Sea of Remnants, Identity V, Diablo Immortal and other updates still gave mobile fans material to track.

NetEase 520 feels quieter for mobile, but Sea of Remnants and live-service updates still matter

NetEase’s 520 event has wrapped, and for mobile players it was more interesting as a temperature check than as a parade of megaton reveals. The biggest talking point may actually be what was missing: ANANTA did not appear, which will frustrate fans waiting for fresh information. Still, NetEase did not leave mobile completely empty-handed.

Sea of Remnants received fresh attention and is heading toward a China test window, while established titles such as Identity V, Eggy Party, Onmyoji, Justice, Diablo Immortal and others received event or content updates. The takeaway is that NetEase’s mobile machine is still enormous, but the 2026 showcase felt more like portfolio maintenance than a bold reset.

For mobile players, the question now is which of these projects will actually land globally with momentum, not just beautiful trailers and familiar live-service promises.
