OneXPlayer X1 Pro goes global with Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 and OCuLink muscle

The new OneXPlayer X1 Pro is not mobile in the phone sense, but it absolutely matters to portable gaming. The refreshed model is now available globally with AMD’s Gorgon Point platform, a Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 APU, detachable controllers, a 65Wh battery and OCuLink eGPU support. That makes it less of a simple handheld and more of a weirdly ambitious tablet-console-PC hybrid for people who look at a Steam Deck and think cute, but can it become my workstation too?

The feature set is powerful, but this class of device lives or dies on thermals, price, comfort and battery reality. On paper, the X1 Pro is very serious. In actual hands, the question will be whether it feels like a brilliant all-in-one machine or a premium gadget trying to be three devices at once.
