Warhammer Survivors brings official horde-clearing madness to Android and iOS later this year

Warhammer Survivors may be one of the most obvious good ideas of the year. Auroch Digital is building a fast-paced survivors roguelite across Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, with development support from poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors. That combination makes immediate sense: endless hordes, absurd weapon evolutions, named Warhammer heroes, big bosses, chaotic builds and screens filled with projectiles, blades and things that probably smell like heresy.

The game is heading to Android, iOS, PC and consoles later in 2026, though the mobile store listings are not live yet. The danger is that the survivors genre is now stuffed with imitators. The opportunity is that Warhammer has enough factions, weapons and monster nonsense to make the formula feel properly enormous if the progression is handled well.
