RedMagic 11S Pro keeps the gaming-phone arms race loud, wet and very fast

RedMagic is making sure the dedicated gaming phone remains wonderfully ridiculous. The 11S Pro series has launched in China with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, a 24,000 RPM internal fan, liquid metal thermal grease, a vapor-cooling chamber and a 6.85-inch 144Hz AMOLED display. The standard model packs an 8,000mAh battery, while the Pro+ uses a 7,500mAh battery and pushes the cooling story even harder. This is not subtle hardware.

It is built for players who care about sustained performance, thermals and the feeling that their phone might be preparing for takeoff. Global availability has not been confirmed yet, which is the usual catch. Still, RedMagic keeps proving that the gaming-phone niche is not dead; it is just spinning very quickly inside a tiny fan housing.
