JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit has opened mobile pre-registration, and yes, it is already leaning hard into the exact words JoJo fans want to hear: generations, Stands, dramatic combat and wildly overqualified poses. Wanda Cinema Games and KLab are building a strategic RPG for Android and iOS with characters from Phantom Blood through Stone Ocean, real-time battles, Rush counters, Stand awakening, world bosses and ranked PvP. The Android closed beta is live in the U.S., U.K.

, Canada and France until May 29, while the App Store listing suggests a July 16 release window. The key challenge is obvious. JoJo is not just another anime license. The combat has to feel stylish, weird and slightly excessive, or it misses the point.
