Pokémon Unite’s Meganium event lets players grind for a free Unite License

Pokémon Unite has added Meganium, and the Johto Adventure Challenge gives players a route to earn its Unite License without immediately throwing currency at the screen. The event uses a board-style structure where players roll dice, complete tile missions and collect Johto Adventure Coins. Those coins can then be exchanged for Meganium’s Unite License, themed background, frame, item enhancers and other rewards.

That is a very mobile-event way to deliver a new Supporter-type Pokémon: part daily login habit, part mini-board game, part reward shop, part slow pressure machine. Still, free license routes are always worth highlighting because they give casual and returning players a reason to come back without feeling locked out of the newest character. The only real warning is obvious: do not wait until the end and then complain the dice gods were rude.
