Notebookcheck reports a new rumor that Asus could reveal another gaming handheld at Computex 2026, less than a year after the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X releases.

Asus may have a new ROG handheld ready for Computex 2026

The handheld PC race may be getting another Asus entry sooner than expected. Notebookcheck reports that a rumor points to Asus showing a new handheld gaming PC at Computex 2026, which begins on June 2 in Taipei. That timing is interesting because the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X are still relatively fresh, and Asus is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand. The obvious question is whether this would be a true successor, a refresh, a special edition or something more experimental.

No official teaser has confirmed the device yet, so this belongs firmly in the rumor drawer for now. Still, portable PC gaming is moving fast, and Asus has every reason to keep pressure on Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go and the growing pile of Windows handheld rivals. The couch wars continue.
