Crash Cat: Zombie Survivor is one of the stranger mobile pre-registration stories around 26 May, and that is a compliment. CookApps is pitching a physics-based roguelite where a carefree cat drives a modified truck through zombie-infested streets and mostly just wants to get home. That is a much better premise than another chosen warrior saving a crystal, frankly.

The gameplay pitch includes manual driving, auto-fire weapons, truck builds, roguelite progression and a Weird Toy System, which sounds like exactly the kind of mobile absurdity that can work if the controls are responsive. The appeal is not subtle: smash through hordes, upgrade your vehicle, grab ridiculous perks and create short-session chaos. Android pre-registration is open, with no iOS or global launch details confirmed yet. The risk is that the joke gets old if the builds do not evolve enough.

The opportunity is that a cat in a truck fighting zombies already has a strong head start.
