Asdivine Knot opens Android pre-registration for old-school JRPG fans
KEMCO’s turn-based JRPG Asdivine Knot has opened Android pre-registration, offering pixel art, side quests, recruitment, fishing, puzzle dungeons, airship exploration and Nexus battles.
KEMCO is doing what KEMCO does best: dropping another classic-style JRPG into the mobile pipeline. Asdivine Knot is now open for Android pre-registration, with no iOS timing confirmed yet. The game follows Verselio, a young cleric who finds himself walking a rebellious path alongside a maiden, a vigilante chief and a self-proclaimed deity.
That is very JRPG, and thankfully the feature list leans into the genre properly: turn-based battles, Nexus Gauge skills, summons, side quests, recruitment, fishing, puzzle dungeons, equipment crafting and a customizable airship for world exploration. Mobile players who grew up on console RPGs often complain that phone RPGs have become too auto-battle and too gacha-heavy. Asdivine Knot looks like a cleaner single-player alternative, provided the pacing and writing hold up.
It may not be flashy, but there is always room for a proper pocket JRPG that lets players grind, fish and save the world in peace.
