Slime Rancher finally oozes onto Android and iOS today

Slime Rancher is the big premium-feeling mobile launch of 26 May, and it is exactly the kind of port that makes sense on phones if the controls behave. Playdigious has brought Monomi Park’s beloved slime-farming adventure to Android and iOS, letting players build a ranch on the Far, Far Range, collect strange little bouncing blobs and attempt to run a business while everything wiggles, escapes and eats things it probably should not.

The official mobile announcement highlights a revamped interface, Game Center achievements, cloud saves across same-platform devices, MFi controller compatibility and iPhone 17 optimization. That is the correct checklist for a mobile port of a PC/console favorite. The worry, as always, is whether touch controls can handle exploration, vacuuming, ranch management and chaos without turning the player’s thumbs into exhausted slimes. But as a buy-once mobile release, this is one of the more attractive 26 May launches.
