RedMagic 11S Pro launches globally and makes liquid-cooled phones even louder
RedMagic’s new flagship gaming phone launches globally with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, 7,500mAh battery, 80W charging, 144Hz display and AquaCore cooling.
RedMagic 11S Pro is the hardware headline of 27 May. The global launch confirms RedMagic’s latest flagship gaming phone with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, 7,500mAh battery, 80W fast charging, 144Hz display, under-display camera and upgraded AquaCore cooling. The Verge reports a U.S. starting price of $849, with early-bird access beginning June 3 and regular availability on June 10.
That is not cheap, but RedMagic is clearly positioning this as a serious gaming device rather than a normal Android flagship with an RGB sticker. The cooling system is the big flex, combining active fan cooling with actual liquid-cooling hardware. The trade-off is that the global version is limited to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, so spec collectors may notice the ceiling. For most players, thermals and sustained frame rates matter more.
