COD Mobile Season 5, titled Revenge, lands today with the usual Call of Duty confidence: new gun, new mode, big event energy and absolutely no intention of letting anyone relax. The key gameplay addition is Armored Royale, a squad-based battle royale mode centered on armored vehicles that act as respawn points. That has the potential to change the rhythm of BR matches, because vehicles stop being transport and become rolling team lifelines.
The BAL-27 assault rifle also joins the weapon pool, which means the loadout laboratory is about to reopen and half the player base will immediately ask if it is broken. The 1v1 Duel event is returning too, giving players a place to prove skill or discover fresh excuses.
