HoYoverse may be preparing an even larger future slate than fans expected. GamingOnPhone’s latest report says surfaced project descriptions point to four possible pre-research titles: a social lifestyle MMO, a UE5 MOBA, a fantasy co-op sandbox experience and a realistic military sci-fi shooter. That is an absurdly broad spread, but HoYoverse has the scale to experiment if it chooses. The important word is possible.

These are not formal launch announcements, and early project descriptions can mutate, merge or disappear before the public ever sees a logo. Still, the direction is fascinating because it suggests HoYoverse may not want to stay boxed into anime action RPG and gacha-adjacent comfort zones. A lifestyle MMO would push social play, a MOBA would court esports pressure, a sandbox could chase co-op creativity and a shooter would be a much sharper genre pivot. Ambitious? Very. Guaranteed? Absolutely not.
