Rust Mobile sets July 9 Android open beta for Hong Kong and Macao

Rust Mobile remains one of the bigger survival-game stories of the week, and 28 May is a good day to keep it in the Gameforce Mobile feed. Level Infinite has announced a regional Android open beta for Hong Kong and Macao starting July 9. No invite code or activation key is required, but progress and player data will be wiped after the test. That is exactly what players need to know before building a base and emotionally attaching themselves to a storage box.

The mobile adaptation has already gone through earlier testing, and this regional beta should give a better look at how Rust’s brutal survival loop translates to phones. The challenge is massive. Rust is about tension, crafting, raiding, betrayal and a world where every stranger is a potential insurance claim. Making that playable on mobile without sanding off the danger is the real test.
