RedMagic 11S Pro remains the gaming-phone benchmark story after global launch
RedMagic’s 11S Pro global model brings an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, 7,500mAh battery, 80W charging, 144Hz display and AquaCore liquid cooling.
RedMagic 11S Pro is still the mobile hardware headline after its global launch earlier this week. The Verge reports that Nubia’s new gaming phone uses an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, a 7,500mAh battery, 80W charging, 144Hz display, under-display camera and AquaCore cooling with a 24,000 RPM fan plus actual liquid cooling. That is exactly the kind of ridiculous but useful hardware stack dedicated mobile gamers want. The U.S.
price starts at $849, with early-bird access from June 3 and regular sales from June 10. The downside is that global RAM and storage top out at 16GB and 512GB, lower than some previous RedMagic flex configurations. Still, if your priority is sustained gaming performance rather than lifestyle photography, the 11S Pro remains one of the most interesting Android gaming phones of the month.
