Logitech G Cloud drops to $199 and becomes a better Android handheld deal
The Logitech G Cloud has dropped to $199, making the Android handheld more interesting for cloud gaming, local streaming, Android games and retro emulation.
The Logitech G Cloud is suddenly a much easier conversation at $199. Notebookcheck reports that the Android gaming handheld has dropped by $100, which matters because this device always made more sense as a cloud and streaming machine than as a premium handheld competitor. At the lower price, the value argument improves.
The G Cloud can stream PC and console games, run Android games from Google Play and handle retro emulation, making it a flexible couch-and-travel device for players who do not need full Windows handheld power. The hardware still has limits, obviously. This is not an MSI Claw, Steam Deck or ROG Ally replacement for native AAA PC games. But for Xbox Cloud Gaming, GeForce Now, Steam Link, Moonlight-style streaming and lighter Android play, the discount makes it worth another look.
Sometimes the best hardware upgrade is a price cut.
