Modern Jet Fighters Online keeps Canada’s soft-launch skies busy
MicroProse and FreakGames’ aerial combat title is soft-launched in Canada on Android and iOS, offering cinematic dogfights, real-time multiplayer, jet customization, varied objectives and global rollout plans.
Modern Jet Fighters Online is technically a 30 May story, but it remains one of the better mobile action items to carry into 31 May because it is now playable in Canada on both Android and iOS. MicroProse and FreakGames are pitching cinematic aerial dogfights, competitive multiplayer, jet customization, different maps, varied objectives and a wider global release planned later.
Mobile air-combat games can be tricky because controls need to balance arcade readability with enough tactical depth to make dogfights satisfying. If the game leans too hard into automation, it becomes a spectacle screensaver. If it demands too much precision, touch controls start feeling like punishment. The good news is that soft launch is exactly where those things should be tested. For players outside Canada, this is a watchlist item. For Canadian players, the skies are already open.
