Soul Land: Awakening World gives today’s feed a big anime-fantasy MMORPG item. The mobile title lets fans revisit Tang San and Xiao Wu’s story in a 3D open world, with iconic locations, familiar characters, Spirimon hunts, new chapters, boss battles, duel showdowns and high-polish fantasy presentation. That is a strong fan-service setup because Soul Land already has a built-in audience that understands the setting before the tutorial even starts.

The challenge is turning that recognition into a good daily MMORPG loop. Mobile MMOs can look spectacular in screenshots and then become too automated after the first hour.
