Blue Fire brings premium 3D metroidvania platforming to Android
Robi Studios has launched Blue Fire on Android as a premium release, bringing its 3D metroidvania platforming, combat, bosses and exploration to mobile.
Blue Fire is a strong premium Android story for players who want something more hands-on than auto-battle progression. Robi Studios has brought the acclaimed 3D metroidvania platformer to Android with a premium price, letting mobile players explore the fallen kingdom of Penumbra, master precise movement, battle enemies, discover secrets and take on surreal Void platforming trials.
The game first built its reputation on PC and console, so the mobile question is obvious: do the controls survive the move to touchscreens? If the port feels responsive, Blue Fire could become one of the more interesting Android premium releases of early June. It is also refreshing to cover a mobile game that simply sells a full adventure instead of trying to build a forever menu of currencies.
