ASUS ROG XBOX Ally X20 bundle turns portable gaming into OLED-and-AR luxury

ASUS ROG’s XBOX Ally X20 bundle includes a 7.4-inch OLED handheld and ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 AR glasses with a 171-inch virtual display.

ASUS ROG’s XBOX Ally X20 bundle remains one of the flashiest portable hardware stories of the week. The 20th anniversary bundle adds a 7.4-inch OLED Nebula HDR display with 120Hz refresh, up to 1,400 nits peak brightness, FreeSync Premium Pro, upgraded TMR joysticks and a transforming D-pad. The bigger flex is the bundled ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 AR glasses, which create a 171-inch virtual display at up to 240Hz when tethered through USB-C. This is not a budget handheld story.

It is a premium collector-style portable setup built around immersion and status as much as convenience. The hardware sounds excellent. The only thing louder than the display may be the eventual price conversation.
