ASUS ROG XBOX Ally X20 bundle turns portable gaming into OLED-and-AR luxury

ASUS ROG’s XBOX Ally X20 bundle remains one of the flashiest portable hardware stories of the week. The 20th anniversary bundle adds a 7.4-inch OLED Nebula HDR display with 120Hz refresh, TMR joysticks and a transforming D-pad. The bigger flex is the bundled ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 AR glasses, which create a 171-inch virtual display at up to 240Hz when tethered through USB-C. This is not a budget handheld story.

It is a premium collector-style portable setup built around immersion, status and the fantasy of carrying a bigger screen without actually carrying a bigger screen. The hardware sounds excellent. The only thing louder than the display may be the eventual price conversation, because handheld PC fans are already sensitive to how expensive this category is becoming.
