Max Payne Mobile gets its first Android update in years

Rockstar Games has unexpectedly revived Max Payne Mobile on Android with Version 2.1.131, marking the game’s first update since 2019. The update brings general bug fixes and improvements, and the big practical effect is that the classic cinematic shooter should now work better on modern Android devices. That matters because Max Payne Mobile had become unavailable or awkward to run for many players due to compatibility issues. This is not a remake, a remaster or a huge content expansion.

It is a survival update for a classic that many fans assumed had been abandoned.
