Girls’ Frontline: Fire Control shutdown countdown continues before August closure

Girls’ Frontline: Fire Control remains an important mobile shutdown story as players digest the August 26 closure date. Sunborn Network is ending the 3D tactical shooter only months after its SEA-focused release and before a full global rollout. Players can keep playing until the end, with weekly Free Diamonds and compensation rewards planned before shutdown.

The game tried to combine fast 5v5 third-person shooting with Girls’ Frontline-style character and squad strategy, but the service plan clearly did not survive. It is another reminder that mobile live-service games can disappear quickly, even when connected to a known franchise. For remaining players, this is now a memory-preservation phase. Take screenshots, spend remaining resources and accept that not every mobile experiment gets time to find its audience.
