World of Slime announced for mobile and PC

World of Slime is preparing to ooze onto mobile and PC, and yes, that is meant as a compliment. The charming MMORPG-style adventure is currently targeting December, with a Steam demo expected in August before the full slime parade arrives.

The appeal is obvious: bright creatures, soft fantasy energy, co-op-friendly adventuring and the chance to live in a world where being a blob is apparently a career path. Mobile MMORPGs often lean heavily into serious armour and dramatic destiny speeches, so something this squishy and cheerful could be a welcome change. It may not save the world, but it might make the world significantly more gelatinous.
