The RedMagic 11S Pro is being reviewed as an absolute gaming beast, which is exactly what you expect from a phone that sounds like it was named by a cyberpunk energy drink. The issue is not power. Reviews point to excellent real-world gaming and emulation performance, a 144Hz OLED display, huge 7,500mAh battery and strong gaming extras.
The awkward bit is value. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Leading Version brings only a modest uplift over the earlier 11 Pro while the price rises. That makes this a very classic hardware dilemma: do you buy the top number because it is top, or do you buy the previous model because common sense occasionally deserves a win?
