Aniimo opens global beta with new areas and cute creature collecting

Aniimo has opened a global beta, joining the creature-collector wave with a softer, cuter approach than the survival-shooter chaos some competitors are chasing. Players become Pathfinders who collect, care for and transform adorable Aniimo creatures while exploring new areas and testing social features.

The latest beta adds Crescent Bay, a water-themed zone, alongside multiplayer modes, Homeland activities and new creatures such as Saucite, Bubbeep, Popapus and Gachapus. That is a lot of adorable syllables for one update. The important thing is that Aniimo is not just leaning on creature collecting alone; it is mixing in life-sim hooks and social spaces, which could help it stand out if the full launch lands smoothly.
