Mesozoic Dawn has arrived on Android, and it is not content with just letting you stomp around as a dinosaur. This multiplayer survival sim starts you small and vulnerable, then asks you to survive, grow, reproduce and evolve through a prehistoric ecosystem that sounds suspiciously more detailed than many office planning tools.

The game connects hunger, thirst, stress, injuries, organs, temperature, oxygen and energy, so becoming someone else’s snack is only one of many problems. With more than 70 prehistoric creatures across land, sea and air, AI herds, migrations and body-part damage, this is a survival game with ambition. Basically, nature is brutal, multiplayer makes it worse, and your phone is now a tiny Jurassic anxiety box.
