RuneScape’s biggest housing update goes live on mobile and PC

RuneScape has opened the door to its biggest housing update yet, and suddenly adventurers have a new reason to care about interior design between monster fights. The update raises the Construction skill cap to 120, adds free room layouts, grid-free furniture placement, trophy displays, crafting stations, a Teleport Nexus, weather control and the ability to share a home with up to five friends.

That is not a small patch. That is a medieval property renovation programme with swords. For mobile players, the appeal is huge because housing gives long-term accounts a personal space beyond stats and gear. After years of collecting loot, players can finally display it like proud fantasy hoarders with better wallpaper.
