Battle Waves: Mobile Season 2 adds friend fights

Battle Waves: Mobile has launched Season 2: Friends & Foes, which is a very polite title for an update that lets you challenge your friends directly and then question those friendships afterward. The season adds friend PvP, new daily quests, battle pass rewards and arena customisation, giving the fast strategy battler more social bite. That matters because PvP games live on rivalry, not just matchmaking.

Anonymous ladder climbs are fine, but beating someone you actually know adds the special seasoning of bragging rights. Add hats and customisation, and suddenly the whole thing becomes less about winning cleanly and more about winning while looking ridiculous. This is mobile multiplayer at its most dangerous.
