House of the Lost: Revived is one day away from returning to Android and iOS, which makes today the perfect time to remember that haunted houses are bad property investments but excellent roguelike settings. The revived mobile classic sends players back into a creepy, shifting house where every run promises fresh danger, enemies and reasons to question family rescue missions. The original disappeared from stores years ago, so this relaunch has a nice preservation angle as well as a gameplay hook.

Mobile roguelikes live or die by control feel and run pacing. If Revived gets both right, this old house may still have serious bite.
