Don’t Starve Together Pocket Edition nears July 21 release

Don’t Starve Together Pocket Edition is now just a few days away, with a July 21 mobile release listed for Android and iOS. That is one of the bigger upcoming mobile drops because the original survival co-op formula has real name recognition and a very specific mood: charming, cruel and always ready to punish overconfidence. Bringing that to phones could be brilliant if the interface works and the multiplayer systems behave.

Mobile survival fans love tension, crafting and social chaos, and Don’t Starve already has those ingredients by the weird little armful. The question is whether pocket survival feels smooth, or whether touch controls become the real monster.
