House of the Lost: Revived is now properly back in the haunted hallway, and the comeback still feels like a good one. The rebuilt roguelike sends players into a nightmare mansion to rescue a missing sister, with shifting rooms, secrets, bosses and replayable dungeon chaos. The important mobile-friendly detail is what it does not bring: no ads, no energy timers and full offline play. That is practically a love letter in a market full of timers tapping their watches at you.
It is old-school in spirit but modern in convenience, which may be exactly what returning players wanted. Sometimes a haunted house just needs better foundations.
