AYANEO unveils KONKR Pocket Advance

AYANEO has revealed the KONKR Pocket Advance, and retro handheld fans now have another device to pretend they absolutely do not need. The design is a clear Game Boy Advance homage, but with modern touches: four face buttons, a larger widescreen display, USB-C, microSD access and a design language aimed at nostalgia without being trapped by it. Specs are not fully confirmed yet, so the hype should remain at least partially supervised.

Still, this is exactly the kind of handheld that works on retro collectors: familiar silhouette, modern hardware promise and just enough mystery to keep forums measuring screen ratios like forensic evidence.
