War Legends keeps traditional RTS alive on mobile

War Legends continues to stand out because it is attempting the brave and dangerous act of making traditional RTS work on mobile. Players gather resources, construct buildings, manage armies and choose between the light Union or Dark Legion, with campaigns, heroes and multiplayer formats including 1v1 co-op and free-for-all. That is a proper strategy feature list, not just a timer farm with swords drawn on top. Touchscreen RTS design is hard because fingers are not mice and small screens do not forgive clutter.

But if War Legends keeps command readable, it could give mobile players something richer than another idle castle queue.
