Heartopia has gone straight for the cuteness button with its Sanrio collaboration, bringing My Melody, Cinnamoroll and Kuromi-themed outfits, vehicles, furniture, backpacks, stickers and decorative items into the cosy life sim. This is exactly the sort of crossover that makes sense for Heartopia: it is not about boss fights or leaderboard dominance, but decorating your digital life until it becomes aggressively charming.

The event runs until August 23, giving players enough time to redesign their world around pastel chaos. Sometimes mobile live ops do not need explosions. Sometimes they need a cute backpack and a rainbow cottage.
