The Walking Dead: Aftermath turns zombie survival into roguelite action

The Walking Dead: Aftermath is now out on mobile, and instead of doing another straight strategy adaptation, it throws the franchise into roguelite action. That means moving from level to level, blasting walkers, gathering upgrades and using survivors back at base camp between runs. It is a smart mobile shape: quick sessions, familiar zombie pressure, character collection and a long-term upgrade loop. The big question is whether it feels tense enough, because zombies are only scary if the game gives them teeth.

At least this one tries something more active than just watching timers shamble forward.
