Portable gaming keeps getting messier and more interesting. Between Steam Deck-style PCs, Switch 2, Android gaming tablets, cloud-first handhelds and retro devices, players are no longer choosing one simple category. They are choosing ecosystems: native PC games, mobile games with controllers, emulation, cloud streaming or console-style portability.
