Lenovo Legion C700 cloud handheld gets key specs

Lenovo’s Legion C700 is becoming clearer, and the cloud-handheld debate is not going away. The Tencent-backed device is expected to use a 7.82-inch 120Hz IPS display, TMR thumbsticks, Hall Effect triggers, four customisable buttons and an omni-directional D-pad. It is being positioned around Tencent START cloud gaming, which suggests China-first availability and a streaming-focused use case. That makes it interesting but also divisive. Native handhelds are expensive but flexible.

Cloud devices can be lighter and simpler, but the internet becomes part of the hardware. That is always the risky bit.
