Wuthering Waves expands into anime with Elysium

Wuthering Waves is expanding beyond the game screen with Wuthering Waves: Elysium, an anime project under Kuro Games’ new animation brand, Kuro Onroad. Details are still light, but the intent is obvious: turn a successful action RPG into a wider entertainment universe. That is increasingly the playbook for major mobile and cross-platform RPGs.

The app is no longer enough; studios want animation, concerts, merchandise and fandom loops that keep players emotionally connected between updates, banners and combat patches.
