Lenovo Legion C700 is becoming one of the more divisive portable stories of the month. The Tencent-backed cloud handheld is expected to use a 7.82-inch 120Hz IPS display, TMR thumbsticks, Hall Effect triggers, customisable buttons and Tencent START cloud gaming. That gives it a clear China-first, streaming-focused identity. The appeal is easy to understand: instant library access, handheld controls and no huge downloads.
The concern is just as obvious: cloud gaming depends on network quality and service availability. The hardware may be real, but the internet is part of the console.
