Wuthering Waves expands with Elysium anime

Wuthering Waves is pushing beyond the app with Wuthering Waves: Elysium, an anime project under Kuro Games’ new animation brand, Kuro Onroad. Details are still light, but the strategy is obvious: successful mobile and cross-platform RPGs increasingly want to become entertainment ecosystems, not just games. Animation gives characters, lore and world-building a second life between updates, banners and combat patches.

If Elysium lands well, it could strengthen player attachment and turn WuWa into a broader fandom loop. The mobile RPG business is not just about retention anymore. It is about making the world follow players off the phone.
