Sofie Scout turns fundraising into a pixel runner

Sofie Scout: Road to Poland is one of the nicest mobile stories of the week. Two 13-year-old Scouts from York built a pixel runner to help raise funds for the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland. The game sends Sofie sprinting across European cities after missing the Jamboree bus, turning a real fundraising mission into a playable mobile adventure. Every purchase contributes to the target, and once the goal is reached, extra income is intended to support future Sofie Scout adventures.

It is scrappy, personal, practical and much more memorable than another generic runner with a shop full of gems.
