Playtiles and Mega Cat bundle a phone controller with seven games

Playtiles is giving touchscreen sceptics another reason to care. The phone-controller maker has teamed up with Mega Cat Studios for a limited-edition bundle that includes a physical Playtiles controller and seven retro-inspired DRM-free games. The controller sticks to a phone screen using Gecko-Grip tech, turning the device into something closer to a pocket handheld. The game bundle includes Kudzu, Little Medusa, Old Towers, Romeow and Julicat, Coffee Crisis, Misplaced and Devwill Too MD.

Pre-orders are open, shipping is expected in October, and the whole thing feels built for people who still believe buttons make mobile games better.
