Playtiles has teamed up with Mega Cat Studios for a limited-edition bundle that includes a physical phone controller and seven retro-inspired DRM-free games. The controller sticks to the phone screen using Gecko-Grip tech, turning a phone into something closer to a pocket handheld. The included games are Kudzu, Little Medusa, Old Towers, Romeow and Julicat, Coffee Crisis, Misplaced and Devwill Too MD.
Pre-orders are open, shipping is expected in October, and the message is clear: touchscreen gaming is fine, but buttons still matter.
