Don't Starve Together remains one of July's biggest mobile launches. The co-op survival game is now on iOS and Android with cloud saves, controller compatibility and a UI rebuilt for touchscreens. The loop is still wonderfully cruel: gather, craft, explore, lose sanity, fight strange creatures and blame your friends when everything catches fire. Mobile survival ports can collapse if the interface gets messy, but this one has clearly been tuned for phones. The world is still hostile.
The controls are just less likely to be the first monster.
