Langrisser: Sea of Sword shows off open-world tactical evolution

Langrisser: Sea of Sword is starting to sound like a proper evolution for the tactical RPG series. New details point to a less linear structure, more freedom, puzzles outside combat and battles where players bring two heroes and two troop types instead of one. The ability to switch heroes mid-fight could add serious tactical texture, especially with Hero Unity Skills and character pairings. Destructible environments are the spicy bit: why storm a castle gate when you can blast through the wall?

Mobile and PC tactical fans should keep this high on the watchlist.
