Eterspire is taking the ‘massive’ in massively multiplayer and putting it on a much bigger screen. The indie MMORPG heads to Apple TV on August 3 with cross-play, letting players continue their characters across devices. That is a clever platform move. Phones are convenient, but MMOs can feel surprisingly good from a couch when the UI and controls cooperate. For a smaller MMO, this is a strong visibility play and a nice reminder that mobile worlds do not have to stay trapped in your pocket.
