Motorola's Moto Pad 70 Groove goes on sale in India today, August 7, positioning itself as a large entertainment and productivity tablet with an unusually ambitious audio system. The device features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10 support and brightness of up to 800 nits. It is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7400 and comes in an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.
The headline feature is a nine-unit JBL Pro speaker system using four tweeters, three woofers and two passive radiators with Dolby Atmos support. A 10,200mAh battery gives the tablet the capacity expected from a device aimed at long video, gaming and study sessions. Motorola also includes Google Gemini, Circle to Search, AI writing and note tools and Smart Connect for sharing content across compatible devices.
The Pad 70 Groove is priced at INR 36,999, with a launch bank discount available through participating offers. For gaming, the 120Hz panel and large battery are attractive, although the Dimensity 7400 positions the tablet below the extreme performance level of specialist gaming tablets. Its broader strength is the combination of display size, audio and battery capacity for users who want one device for media, schoolwork and casual gaming.
