Samsung's Galaxy F70 Pro 5G begins retail sales in India this weekend after its formal launch earlier in the week. The mid-range phone uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and pairs it with a large 6,000mAh battery and 45W wired charging. Samsung is also promising six years of software and security support, an unusually long commitment for a device aimed below the company's premium S-series.
Pricing starts at ₹25,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, with higher configurations available for buyers who want additional memory. The F-series is designed heavily around online retail, making specifications and value particularly important because it competes directly with aggressive offerings from Xiaomi, realme, Motorola and other Android brands.
A large battery gives the F70 Pro obvious appeal for gaming and streaming, while the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 should provide enough performance for mainstream mobile titles without entering flagship territory. Long-term software support may ultimately become its strongest selling point. Mid-range Android buyers increasingly expect phones to last several years, and extended updates reduce one of the traditional disadvantages of spending less than flagship money on a device.
